Parenting...

So I have been a parent for almost 22 months now and I've experienced the difficult times and the best times. If you asked me in January if I was enjoying being a mother I probably would have just given you that look. So far there have been 3 major difficult times dealing with Jacob.

• At 9 months: For some reason Jacob began to hate baths & water. He finally started to get used to it during the summer.
• At 14-15 months: The independent stage. He started school and when we began teaching him to to hold our hands.
• At 19-20 months: Who knows? ...Being sick (all of us were sick in January), teething (first incisors cutting), communication frustration or just the on set of approaching 2.

Though if you ask me Today if I was enjoy being a mother. I'd say YES! Jacob is all energy. His communication is becoming better and words (some) are clearer. He says Bye Bye to everything and waves (closes his fingers into a fist). Besides the saying Bye Bye.. He loves giving HUGS & KISSES... even to our dog and cats. Plus his stuffed animals. We started saying our prayers before bedtime. Our next challenged is Potty Training...though I'm not going to rush anything. We planned on waiting until we moved to get him a big boy bed, but might not be able to wait. Well, just have to see how things turn out with the house.

He also has a fascination with his cousin, Camdyn. He always wants to hold her and if you take her away he freaks. Just check out the picture.

We showed our house last night for the first time. Please keep us in your prayers.
