Easter Slideshow

We had an eventful and wonderful Easter. I only wished that Spring Break followed instead of came before.
We attempted a community Egg Hunt on Saturday, but it turned into more of a race...so Mimi and Poppy set up a Egg Hunt for Kylee & Jacob to enjoy after lunch. Taking pictures of toddlers is not easy, but I had to get a picture of Jacob in his suit. It first belonged to my brother, Kyle (who wore it over 25 years ago) then my 2 cousins. My aunt sent it 2 weeks before Easter and it just fit him, barely. I found the shirt & tie at Burlington Coat Factory. He actually wore the tie all day. Hope you enjoy our album!

Monkey Joes

So this is just part of what we experience on a daily basis. Though, I do have to forgive him for being upset here. On Friday, we took Jacob and his cousin, Kylee, to Monkey Joe's (a place with the big blow up slides and jumping cages). For some reason he doesn't care for the noise of the machines, even though he went on them this past fall.
Wes tried to take Jacob through the one of the slides, but he did not warm up to it at all. He'd prefers to watch Kylee.
So after
long night we decided to enjoy some Icee!
Something he actually likes! First Icee ~ I think!
Since Jacob didn't like going down the slides I borrowed my niece, Kylee.

The Teriffic Twos....

Or Terrible...
So we have been experiencing glimpses of the Terrible Twos. Which can also be categorized as dramatic mood swings. One moment Jacob is giving us hugs and kisses, then before you know it he is having a tantrum -rolling around on the floor. Then when I offer him something that he wanted he doesn't want it anymore, so I put it away and he fusses more. Who knows?
He can be the sweetest thing...I mentioned he's into giving hugs and kisses. He'll hug and kiss our dog and 2 cats, even his stuffed animals. He says Bye Bye and waves to everything. His words are becoming clearer and he has started to say and ask for things without us prompting him. "Up Please" ... Hey, at least he uses his manners.
