Where did Daddy Go?

We had fun playing at Mimi & Poppy's pool and eating lunch.

Then we went to some friends and went down their water slide. Check out Jacob's going down the water slide. This was his last time down; I actually video taped the first time he went down.

Fall 2008 Update

So it's been awhile....

• After visiting Auburn for the Tennessee and LSU Games two weekends in a row we arrive back in West Columbia to be involved in a Life Action Ministries Revival for two weeks. Then Wes' Grandfather passed away on Oct 17th to be with Our Lord and Savior. We were able to celebrate his 80th Birthday the Friday before with a family dinner. He enjoyed watching his great grandson & daughter play & laugh. He turn 80 on Oct. 6th.
  
• Since my last post we are still waiting to hear if we have been approved for a loan for our house. Please pray that we will receive our loan so we can begin to build our new home.

• Jacob cut 3 molars in October and another front tooth - Totaling 11 teeth thus far. He is learning so much. He climbs on everything (His nickname "Monkey Man" fits him well). He especially loves the couch. His vocabulary is increasing daily, he can point & say ear, eye, nose,he loves balls & cars, playing outside and smiles & laughs all the time. He is becoming a little boy before our eyes. He learn to go down a slide head first and loves it. He jumped on a trampoline for the first time 2 weeks ago and love it. He is just a bunch of energy -from the moment he wakes up until he goes to bed.

God has truly Blessed us!

Jacob's Nursery School

Jacob exploring Ms. Janice's on his first morning!Jacob's 1st Day of Nursery School at Ms. Janice's on August 12th. He is adjusting well. She has 8 children. Three 4 yr olds, 3 yr old, 2 1/2 yr old, 18m old, Jacob (15m) & a one year old.

He is still taking a short morning nap along with their 2 hour afternoon nap. He takes after his Mommy when it comes to sleep. Daddy takes him in the morning except Tuesdays and I pick him up. Though Jacob is not old enough yet, they wear a different color everyday to help them learn their colors and each week they study a new letter.

Jacob's First Time on a Plane

Here are some picture of Jacob's First Airplane Ride we took to Memphis for a friend's wedding. We left Thursday, April 10th and arrived home today. He did very well there and back. Just a bit fussy at times, but the 1 1/2 hour plane ride was better than 10-12 hours in the car!
