This is the day the LORD has made

While reading a book to Jacob tonight about stars and told him that I was going to read him a story from his Bible about a special star. I read him the story of Jesus' Birth and the shepards that used that special star to guide them to that precious babe. Jacob seeing it through a child's eye looked at the picture of baby Jesus sleeping and said to me "I want to be in the Bible".And of course, I responding "Why?" "So I can wake up Baby Jesus"Again I said "why?" He wanted Baby Jesus to see the star.
The statement that struck me the most was when Jacob said he wanted to be in the Bible. It made me start thinking of being someone in the Bible and what it would have been like to be apart of Jesus' lifetime or even life before Jesus. Even though we weren't actually there we are all mentioned in the Bible. God refers to everyone (you, us). Remember He knows us before we are born.

Christmas in Auburn

The Kelbe Klan traveled near and far for our 1st annual Fantasy Christmas in Auburn, AL. Thank to Jack who participated in an Auburn University Baseball Camp. We enjoyed lots of laughs, great food and stories. Saturday we celebrated our holiday time birthdays, which included Kristy, Wes, Janie (aka Mom & Nana) and Jack! After our share of cake we listen as Uncle Chris told the story of 'Twas a week before Christmas' and sang Christmas songs and hymns. Sunday we celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ Our Savior, with a great meal prepared by my darling mother. I'll give credit to my father and husband who fried a delicious turkey and chicken. After dinner we swapped our gifts and enjoyed each others company.
Sweet Kisses!

Cayce Christmas Parade

Here are some pictures of our 3rd Annual Cayce Christmas Parade. Jacob really enjoyed it. He called Everything a race car. He like the lights and hung out with friend, Michala and cousins, Kylee and Camdyn.
Camdyn wanted to crawl and explore. Jacob stood there for about 30-45 mintues.
Jacob only wanted to sit with Aunt Cuppy and Uncle Micah. Then he enjoyed playing with Jaxson's dump trunk.
