Chicago Trip

Wes bid on a trip to Chicago at a fundraiser for the Golf Junior League and won 2 nights for about $250 including Cubs tickets ~ so we made long weekend with it: June 30th ~ July 3rd and then spent Fourth of July in Auburn.

First Night in Our New Home

So tonight, Father's Day, is our first night in our new home! I took a picture of Jacob on his mattress that is on the floor. His bed still in storage. He actually has been taking naps on the floor while we worked on finishing touches.

We are slowly getting things moved in...check out our garage.

Landscaping

So, today I worked on planting some bushes while Wes finished some things around the house. I planted the 2 Arborvitae, 3 Loropetalums, and 9 Compacta Hollies. I was going to work on the yard yesterday, but had a serve pain that laid me out. It started in the morning about 9:30 and continually got worse. I had to go get compost and by Lowes to eat the Arborvitaes....that's when it took a turn for the worse. I began to feel nauseous and a serve abdominal pain. It didn't help that it wa blazing hot and I had a 3 year old with me. I had to call Wes to help me with Jacob and prayed that I made it home okay. Which I did...about 11:15-30am. Barb took Jacob to the pool and it took me about 30-45min to fall asleep because it was a constant pain ( worse than my labor with Jacob). I woke up around 3:30pm pain gone! Weird.

Amanda and Micah gave us a cherry tree that took 3 guys to unload. Wes began to dig a very large hole.

This was my job.

Appliances

So, the manager called me the next day, but didn't have a date so I called him today. He said he would check on our order and call me back. He did, pretty quickly, and said they would be arriving on the trunk tonight and that the salesman is instructed to call us once he gets his hands on them.

With all that Wes spends there I just expected a little more. We tried them because their prices were good and we thought that it would be easy to get them. I plan to write a letter explaining my frustration so they can make improvements based on our situation.
