Busy 2011

Wow! What a busy year, especially adding another child.
YES~ We welcomed our second son, William Ridley "Will" on May 25th a week after his due date and 2 days after Jacob turned 4!!! Jacob was so excited and unfortunately he got the stomach bug the day we came home from the hospital. He was quarantined to the upstairs for 2 days. I didn't want to chance getting sick or the baby getting sick so I stay away. Which is sooo hard for a mother to do. Luckily, I had my mommy here.

We decided to have a party for Jacob a couple of weeks later, since we weren't sure when Will would come. We had a train party on June 11. A gentleman I met in the South Congaree Parade owns a road train and uses it for Birthday Parties, etc. He was so nice and used the money to donate to Saint Judes. I believe that Jacob rode every time except once. Uncle Kyle came since he wasn't here for Will's birth and Nana surprised us.

Those were the most memorable moments of 2011, but here are some others to check out (in order by date not importance ;) )

Our visit with Karter the day she comes home. Jacob was content holding her watching TV. Though we I tried taking a picture he would close his eyes on purpose.

First Night in Our New Home

So tonight, Father's Day, is our first night in our new home! I took a picture of Jacob on his mattress that is on the floor. His bed still in storage. He actually has been taking naps on the floor while we worked on finishing touches.
We are slowly getting things moved in...check out our garage.

Night Night

I just put Jacob to bed and I have to share...
As I was putting on Jacob's crib sheet I asked him to get Puppy and Ducky, his animals that he sleeps with. He put them in his crib and then said "I get George" as in Curious George, which was in the living room. We got George and he put him in the crib.
We have a bedtime routine...
I picked him up and he 'hugs' me. He laid his head on my shoulder and said
"Rock Baby, Rock Baby".
Earlier I was rocking him like a baby. He even got his paci, which he gave up at 6 months. After our hug and rocking he gave me a kiss. Tonight he kissed me then he gave me a kiss on each cheek.
He said "Kiss cheek".
Next, I laid him down and we said our prayers. Then I gave him a butterfly kiss and an Eskimo kiss.
I said Night, Night. I love you. Jacob said "Night, Night" " I
WUV You!
This is the Best Part of my day! I hope that I did it justice...you might have just had to experience it.
